Well after a lovely Summer holidays, just landing back in the UK yesterday afternoon after almost three weeks in Italy and a last minute dash to Clarks near Liverpool Airport for school shoes, we are now back at school!

I say back when I actually mean one is back and the other is starting school in Reception.

I am not sure where the time has gone but little Noah is now at “big school”. This morning he was up bright and early and couldn’t wait to get his uniform and new school shoes on. He was very excited and looking forward to getting there. At the school gate he insisted on me leaving him there so he could go in with his brother, who is now in Year 2.

I thought I would feel more emotional about it than I do. Perhaps it is because he was so happy going and so looking forward to it that helped.

I hope he has a good day, I am sure he will!
