I have a child who wants to be one of Santa’s elves when he grows up. Seriously, he is wondering when his ears will start to grow! Our trip to Lapland three years ago really captured his imagination!

So Christmas is his favourite time of year and can you believe it but Christmas Eve is just five weeks away this Saturday! We can’t wait!

Santa is already getting his sleigh ready and the elves are busy checking who has made the good and naughty list.

This weekend, 19th and 20th November, at Giltbrook Shopping Centre you can catch Santa, on a quick visit from Lapland, with the launch of a free pop-up family event, giving little ones the chance to meet Santa and get crafty with the help of his elves.

This is no ordinary grotto however, you can find Santa on the top deck of a double-decker bus turned winter wonderland. You can even take a selfie with him!

There are also special festive craft workshops hosted by the elves giving kids the chance to make everything from tree decorations to magic reindeer food for Rudolph.

The event starts at 11 am and runs until 5pm – see you there!

Sounds great fun. I’m sure Noah will learn lots of lovely things so that he can help Santa Claus when he gets his Elf job. Xxxx.
