Tis the season to eat toffee so here is a delicious toffee recipe that my Grandma used to make for us! It’s really good and I can promise you will be making batch after batch…

4oz butter
8oz brown sugar
Half a teaspoon flour
1 dessert spoon syrup

Melt butter, add sugar, flour and syrup.
Boil furiously for 20 minutes until it sets when dropped in cold water.
Spread in buttered tin to set.

Now to dig out that toffee hammer….
