• Plan posts almost like projects
  • Ask myself the fundamental questions about my blog/blogging activities; who is my reader? why am I blogging? what is the desired outcome? etc etc
  • Think about child safety and whether to anonomise my children on the site
  • Don’t be afraid to post true feelings/opinions
  • Tag posts so there is some sort of index, contents etc
  • Read more blogs and comment on them too
  • Think about SEO!
  • Think about colours – dark grey text is easier on the eye.
  • Rename photos with a meaningful title
  • Change post links to something meaningful (work out how to!)
  • Put on a disclosure page for PR companies.
  • Look at arranging meetups with bloggers in my area (Nottingham)
  • Do a bit more self promotion!

So lots of things to think about, and of course action! Was an amazing day, great to meet people whose blogs, tweets etc I read and learnt so so much.

Thank you to Sally at tots100, the speakers Bangs and a Bun, A Little Bird Told Me , Dafydd Prichard from Cite , Phil from Citigate Dewe Rogerson and of course the fantastic sponsors, TalkTalk .
