tripleshotz

We were recently sent Great Gizmo’s Jump Rocket Triple Shotz game to try out and review. This game is designed for children aged 6+ and involves jumping onto the pump to shoot out the foam rockets. Great outdoor fun!

It was very easy to assemble – just slot the pieces together.

There are three brightly coloured rockets in total. It is possible to shoot out 1, 2 or all 3 at the same time and you can choose to shoot them straight up or directional as there is a swivel action for you to choose.

The box does warn the rockets can shoot up to 300 feet so it is a good idea to make sure you have plenty of space! The first time one shot over the fence into the undergrowth (or should I say overgrowth) of the common land next door and the second one shot into the house guttering and we had to ask a friend’s dad if one of his team would come around with the big ladders to rescue it! So these badboys go far, or should I say high!

We moved from the garden to the park so to reduce the risk of losing too many rockets.

They are designed for age 6+ but Noah who is only 4 really enjoyed them too (though he did find it harder to pump the rockets very far as he is smaller)!

The clear plastic tube that goes from the pump to the rocket base is fairly sturdy but it is easy to get kinks in it which need to be straightened out to ensure maximum throttle!

We really did love them and had such good fun. They will be perfect to take to the park or with us camping and I know they will give the kids hours of entertainment. I love the simplicity of them, yet they still have plenty of play potential.

Lou, this made me laugh! I’m just picturing you working out how to get the one out of the guttering. Well done for finding a solution (that didn’t involve you going up the ladder)! 😉
