Today we visited the delightful Donna Nook which at this time of year is full of grey seals.
We have visited before but much earlier in the season (which starts mid October when the females arrive to give birth), I think around beginning of November, when the babies were small.
This time the babies are much bigger and many have been left by their mums after feeding for two-three weeks since birth. They were like little round barrels! They will soon be heading out to sea themselves as they get hungry and need to fish.
It is an amazing sight to watch nature undisturbed. True magic!
