This is a delicious and quick family supper that always goes down well at our house..

SERVES 2 adults, 2 children

6 rashes of lean back bacon chopped into strips

3 garlic gloves (crushed)

1 onion (chopped)

3 portabello mushrooms (sliced)

TOTAL Greek Yoghurt 10% fat

2 courgettes (sliced) — optional

Spagetti

Parmesan cheese

Freshly milled salt and pepper

RECIPE

Put the spagetti into boiling water with salt and cook for 10 minutes or until required consistency then drain.

Add the onions, garlic and bacon to a large pan and dry-fry in own juices for 3-4 minutes. Add the mushrooms and courgettes and continue to sautee for a further 5 minutes until soft.

Add TOTAL Greek Yoghurt to the bacon mix and mix through to make a creamy sauce. Add pepper to taste.

Toss the drained spagetti through the cooked carbonara sauce and add parmasan cheese, stir through and serve.
