Last weekend we went camping. We had a pitch in Chertsey on the banks of the Thames.
Here is our beloved tent! We have had her for four years now and love her to bits.
I hardly take any photos whenever we are camping to be honest. I think it is because there are so many jobs to do in a tent, or maybe I am just too busy relaxing!
Anyway the boys had a fabulous time in the play area, and Noah loved the (very tame) bunnies, squirrels and ducks exploring the site. They played out in the fresh air for hours and it was so good to hear their laughter and giggles.
On Saturday we went to Mercedes-Benz World in nearby Weybridge. There was lots for the kids to do – Gran Turismo to play, 3D cinema on the makings of a car, lots of cars to sit in, stunt car show. We also did the tour which cost £2.50 per adult and gave us a potted history of MB and the highlights of MB World. Now I am not a petrolhead by any means but it was pretty good!
On Sunday we went to Chessington World of Adventures. The boys loved the Madagascar Live show and the Zoofari ride.
Ethan painted a picture tonight of us in our tent. It is clearly much sunnier in his imagination that it was for us this weekend but nonetheless we had a fantastic time!
