The Gallery: Bond
This week’s theme for The Gallery is Bond and I have chosen to interpret this as the bond in our family.
We all have a very close bond as there really is just the four of us for most of the week as our extended family live quite a distance away.
The boys,however, have a very special bond, being close in age and with similar interests.
They don’t get on ALL the time, of course, but mostly they are good at sharing and playing together. It is very cute to watch and listen to the younger one copying his big brother. His idol!
At the moment they are sharing a bedroom, even though the younger one has his own room he loves to sleep in with his brother and it is lovely to hear them talking in the morning to each other.
I know lots of research has been done into siblings and what siblings teach you about the world and important life lessons. It is incredible to watch it happening in front of your own eyes.
I hope their bond will always be strong and they will always be there for each other.

My brother & I always used to scrap, but actually we get on really well…it was down to us both being mega competitive. We still disagree and argue now, but do get on well too.

I think the occasional fight is natural and it makes the good times together even more special.
