“The days are getting shorter” said the mouse to the hedgehog,
“I think its time that we settled down for a sleep underneath that log”.
For woodland creatures the forest glade is feeling rather nippy
Bright red berries and forest fruits are stored to keep them happy.
Now the crisp morning frost hears excited children playing
Waving at the tractors out early for a day of haying
The orange leaves are kicked and thrown from their home upon the ground
With wellies donned and running, collecting conkers they have found

Christmas is around the corner and frosty mornings near
Snow will cover all the Autumnal beauty I do fear
Jolly old Santa will be visiting children before long,
So let’s make the most of this glorious, vibrant season – please do come along!

There are some amazing colours in Autumn but Winter can be just as dramatic x
