We are totally thrilled to have been chosen as Center Parcs Family Bloggers!!
We have visited the Sherwood site on a number of occasions so know what a treat we will be having and really can’t wait to visit. I do think Center Parcs is the perfect place for children and adults to relax as it is a place you can do as little or as much as you would like and everyone is happy.
The last time we went there as a family was actually over three years ago, which I can’t quite believe, and the boys were really quite small, at 18 months and 3 years of age! So there will even more for them to do and enjoy this time.
Family time is really important to us, particularly since the boys are both now at full time school. So we will be making the most of the opportunity to chill out and make the most of our break when we are there. Honestly what most people do in a week we can fit into a day!
Our perfect day at Center Parcs would ideally start with a nice lie in but that may be a bit too much to ask for, no guarantees there with two young boys bursting with excitement at checking out all the fun activities and things to do such as fencing (which Ethan did try the first time we went to CP when he was 18 months!), junior quad biking and archery.
We would definitely need to factor in brunch and as we are on holiday there won’t be any cooking for us especially when the Pancake House has such delicious treats to try.
Obviously adults aren’t left out at Center Parcs and I would love to try out the Segway through the forest or the some adrenaline run in the tree top swinging like we did at Go Ape. Or perhaps if the British weather is typical then ten pin bowling would be great fun.
After all the energy we have used up a dip in the subtropical swimming paradise would definitely be on the cards. The boys love the water and I can only imagine how much they will love the pool and slides at Center Parcs, especially after our holiday in Egypt. There are stacks of activities that take place in the pool such as mini jet skies, snorkelling and aqua jetting which looks awesome!
I think we will be fit to drop after such an amazing day and unwinding in the Indian restaurant would be the perfect end to a fabulous day!
