Yesterday we were invited to a blogger afternoon at Lost City Adventure Golf to try out their new menu and have a game of golf. Lost City Adventure Golf is located in the basement of the Corner House in the centre of Nottingham.
We were one man down as he was on a school residential, but it was a really refreshing change to have just one child (and a break from sibling fighting!).
The menu is basically pizza with sides of sweet potato or normal fries and dips. They have invested in new pizza ovens though and the result is really delicious! They also do some yummy mocktails, ice cream milkshakes and slushes with a good choice of flavours and all reasonably priced.
The food itself was yummy and the environment relaxed and fun – just what you want for a family bite to eat.
We had half the pizza one flavour (margarita) and the other veggie with chilli just to be awkward but the staff were very happy to oblige.
It was just what we needed to set us up for a fun game of adventure golf!
Did you know you can take cans into the golf course with you? Gary fancied a beer so that was good to know as obviously golfing is thirsty work. You can also get ciders and soft drinks too.
There is a choice of two courses. We decided to do the Sacred Skull route which is the more challenging of the two as the course has more rocky terrain. This makes it more fun though and the 18 holes flew by! There is a good variety of tactics to use and you won’t get bored easily!
In the end Ethan won with a score of 53, Gary got 55 and I got 57 so it was close! I was chuffed as I managed to get two holes in ones!
Thank you for inviting us we had a brilliant afternoon and will definitely return for some more family fun time!
Have you been to Lost City Adventure Golf recently? It’s definitely worth checking out their menu for something different in the city centre.
