Well 2015 is here, can you believe it!?

After a very lazy Christmastime we headed to Sherwood Pines to blow off the cobwebs, fill our lungs with fresh air and also get Noah riding his bike without stabilisers!

I don’t know if there is something in it but riding on grass really helped him and before long he was off on the tracks! He was a little unsteady at times but confidence will come I’m sure.

I have to say Sherwood Pines is probably my favourite place in the world. I always feel like I am on holiday when I go there (this may be because it is very close to Center Parcs and has the same vibe).

We had a great time checking out the Gruffalo’s Child trail and climbing trees!

I want to get a bike of my own now, instead of hiring one each time we go cycling.

The forest is a great place to burn off some of those Christmas excesses – walking or cycling (and I not going to entertain the idea of running!).

Happy New Year- hope it is good to you!

Sherwood Pines looks like the perfect place to escape to after all the indoor time over the Christmas period. and the boys look like they’re having a blast. It’s great that you got Noah out riding his bike minus the stabilisers, he looks like he’s enjoying himself! Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.

Looks like you had a great time! There’s nothing like a bit of tree climbing is there!
