Inspired by our visit to the Gruffalo trail at Sherwood Pines we had a go making our own little habitat for the Gruff from the forest fauna we had collected.
- We covered an old shoe box with paper and painted it grey (like the Gruffalo’s cave).
- We then filled the box with twigs, pine leaves and pine cones as well as some shredded paper packaging which we thought would make a cosy bed.
- I then printed out and laminated the characters from the book and put a blob of bluetac on the back of each.
Let the playing commence!
Very imaginative! You have very clever boys! Xxx. Well done Ethan and Noah xxxx
